Versatile Driveway Swing Gate Frame for cladding

The versatile design gate frame is suitable for both INTERNAL horizontal cladding (up to 20mm material thickness) or EXTERNAL vertical/Horizontal Cladding of any thickness.

The gate features an open center which does not interfere with internal cladding. The construction is of pre-galvanized steel RHS tubing for the Bottom Rail (80x40mm) and SHS tubing (40x40mm Top and Sides). Every join on the gate is welded providing the best strength and rigidity unlike flat pack gates.

Gate Hinge Options

Multiple hinge options are available to choose from based on two factors gate weight and adjustability/flexibility.

The standard ball bearing hinge is used with light weight gates only and is fixed without adjustability, it is a simple lift off type hinge. This hinge works with 100mm Posts

Strap hinge (non-adjustable) is used with gates not exceeding 150kg, it is a simple lift off type hinge. With gate frames it should be considered the minimum post size with this option should be 150mm.

The V40 Hinge (Silver Zinc Dacromet Coated) Can be installed anywhere on the gates Vertical rail allowing for Automation on the gates bottom rail without conflict from the hinge. This hinge works with 100mm Posts

The 300mm Strap Hinge (Silver Zinc Dacromet Coated) is used for weightier gates such as cladded gates requiring adjustment back to/away from post to achieve alignment, by far the most adjustable hinge option. With gate frames it should be considered the minimum post size with this option should be 150mm.

Orion Slimline Low Voltage 24 Volt Driveway Linear Actuator Gate Motor

The Orion LS Linear Actuator kit is the upgraded version of the highly popular original Orion model. With an ultra modern and slimline measuring at only 80mm in width. Suitable for narrow post installations of 100mm. Constructed from a die-cast alloy rear housing for the DC motor and metal gear set and an extruded aluminum housing for the stainless steel telescopic piston it retains a subtle yet modern appearance with plenty of strength for most applications of low resistance/low wind loading gates. Operations are smooth and efficient using its 24 Volt DC motor system transferred to its steel lead screw through its metal gear set. The end positions are set using the retracted stroke (in) and a gate stop for its expanded stroke (out). The Orion LS now boasts a maximum of 510mm usable stroke and also two ADJUSTABLE limit stops built in (one for the OPEN position and one for the CLOSED position), the usable amount of stoke whilst retaining the two limit stops is 440mm being each limit stop (individually removable) occupies 35mm of area. The Orion LS can be used for gates from as short as 1m and up to 4.2m (Farm Gates) in size each gate or up to 350kg in weight each (see specifications graph below).

Normal Modes allow for the "STAY Open" feature to cancel the automatic closing timer by remote Handy when expecting guest, backing in a trailer etc.
